I purchased these washcloths to replace my three-year old threadbare washcloths. I selected them because they were the same approximate color as my old ones and I thought the Egyptian cotton might be superior quality. The instructions say to machine wash the cloths before use. Once done, they plump up nicely, but they seem to get better with subsequent washings. I noticed that after the first wash, there was considerable fabric shedding in the bathtub, etc. I hope that they will soon stop shedding altogether; I think the original shedding is probably normal and they will stop. I have only had them a short time, but I notice that with repeated washings they continue to plump up, which is nice. Overall, I think for the price, they are a very good buy and the quality is quite decent. If you don't want to spend a lot of money for washcloths, I would certainly recommend these. I bought these towels (specifically the bath sheet - which I no longer see available) from another website which no longer exists :( I am a bigger girl, and the bath sheet goes from under one armpit, all the way around my body, and into the other armpit (most bath towels don't go all the way around - and either leave half a side or the back side hanging open!)
If you can find the bath sheet, BUY IT!!!! And if you can find them, please let me know where to find them, because after 5 years, mine are starting to lose some of their fluff.... Got this to use together with the hot towel cabi, just like the ones they have in the beauty shops. The towel itself doesn't fluff up as big as on the amazon photos, but the texture is soft, though would of never guessed this is made of bamboo. The towel is perfect size for the towel cabi, heats up nicely and my wife says with this, she really feels like getting a treatment in a professional spa, saves me tons of $.
For the bath towel, still would recommend the waterford towels, those are the ultimate luxury item, this towel is great for the price, but if you don't care about the price, then the bamboo towels still can't compare with the Waterford Bartley set of towels. I purchased five sets of this towel set for everyday use. They are soft and very adequeate for daily use. Several pieces had pulled threads when received and the dyeing process was not uniform. Some bath and and hand towels had streaks of white all the way across the item.

All I have to say is that I love this product. It works so well that I have literally cut out at least one load of laundry a week. That is a big deal to me because I HATE doing laundry. When I first saw the product, I read the reviews and was pretty much convinced but didn't buy right away, then I can across it again while reading a product review on one of my favorite mom blogs. They loved it and so I went ahead and ordered one. I have since gotten one for my mom, mother in law, sister and my brother. I wear scrubs to work 5 days a week and rarely get them "dirty"....now I can freshen them up in the dryer and hang them back up without washing them every time I wear them.
