I've been looking for some old style "flour sack" towels for awhile, because the ones I have dry the dishes so well when doing them by hand.
I wanted something more than the standard white color so I bought these Peony (pink) towels to go with the pink KitchenAid stand mixer I was going to buy. I ended up getting the ice blue mixer color instead. Since I'm not totally wrapped up in everything in my kitchen matching I am keeping the towels.

These towels are really great! They feel like a spa towel that doesn't weigh you down. They have a lot of room to wrap around your body and they easily hold the wrap because they are so light. Moreover, you do not have to toss the towel after a few uses because they dry very quickly verses a terry cloth towel. Terry cloth towels sometimes start smelling moldy because they take longer to dry. Also, the towels dry very quickly in the dryer which saves on my electric bill. So they are eco friendly because you can use them several times before they need cleaning and when you dry them in a dryer, they dry very quickly. I only wish they weren't so expensive.
