I bought 4 of the towels and wash cloths in Polished Platinum in September 2008. I normally shop for towels in the $8-$10 range, but decided to splurge on these based on reviews I read online and in magazine reviews. This was well worth the splurge as these towels are the softest and most absorbent I have ever used. I really notice the difference when I use one of our old towels or use hotel towels (even higher end hotels). None of them are nearly as soft as these towels. They have held up well over the time we have had them, using them and washing them very regularly. They are still soft, absorbent, held their color, and have not frayed.
