The colors are brighter, but it looks less realistic than in the picture. Also, when you wash them, be prepared for the black in the trees to get little white fuzzies all over it. these towels are also thin, and only printed on one side, which I was expecting, but I know others view that as a major flaw so I thought i would throw that out there.
